The best Thai food I’ve ever had in the UK!Following a trip to Thailand several years ago, I’d longed to find somewhere here that offered the same amazing flavours. Tai restaurant is a godsend. (I ordered via Uber Eats, so presentation will likely differ it you eat at the restaurant).
It is not possible to contact them, despite they have a number in their website. I also wanted to order food for takeaway by Deliveroo, and again is not possible, instead you have to pick up your order. So, I came here and I picked my order. I give 5 starts because of the customer service provided by Ellie. She is very kind nd helpful.
Got takeaway the other evening, was spot on. Thought I'd chance a sit down meal, again v.good. I've done a lot of the generic Thai food in my time and having some of the more homely southern dishes was a delight. I eat alot, but I reckon you could get away with cutting portions a little; I know how generous Thai people are though! Overall absolutely yummy, fantastic little interior, and even on a quieter evening; me as a solo diner felt enough ambience. Top notch Tai! Thank you
Excellent! Really authentic and delicious! We had read some average reviews before so were a bit apprehensive but actually really good experience. The food was super tasty. Every dish was great. In previous reviews I’d read that the door opens too much for delivery drivers. It seems staff have taken this on board and now the door is closed and drivers ring the doorbell so the door is open only when necessary. Good problem solving! The decor was minimal but nice and cozy setting we liked it. Service was good. Had a cocktail which was ok for the price. We will be back for more courses we didn’t select this time.
Lovely place and service. The food was really good, I had the massaman curry with a roti on the side and it was delicious. It wasn't spicy. I recommend this place.
Despite there are lot of annoying “Karen” types of white people left negative reviews here I still went ahead and had a lovely time with my friends! Really authentic food, I think you really have to be in the restaurant to know how great the foods taste! I love the Crab meat fried rice! The Curry was so lovely! Really authentic Thai! I sometimes think take away ruins the taste of dinner.. We can’t wait to go back!
